If you are looking for insurance for your employees or are self-employed click on the Business Health insurance icon. (Self employed groups of One need to be in business for a year and have reportable IRS income and may have restrictions that we need to talk about.) Sometimes groups of One and ALWAYS groups of 2-50 are guaranteed issue no matter what your health.
Anyone can apply forIndividual / Family health insurance and many times individual insurance is less expensive because it may not include maternity or other coverages. You typically need to be accepted (medically underwritten) to get individual insurance. Most companies simply ask you health history on the application and make a decision from that. Some individual insurance is guaranteed issue if you have exhausted your COBRA coverage, but premiums may be much higher.
